Meet the Owners
Eric Stewart
Eric has spent the last 14 years in construction, building his career from fine woodworking and custom furniture in high school to managing complex residential and commercial projects across the Shenandoah Valley. For the past six years, he has led projects as a Project Manager, overseeing structural steel, advanced concrete systems, and architect-driven builds where precision and coordination matter.
His experience includes work on demanding commercial projects such as Westminster Canterbury, White Oaks Farm, many Individual custom builds, as well as complex historic restoration projects across the Shenandoah valley. His commercial level discipline combined with his attention to detail now informs every custom home he builds, bringing structure, sequencing, and accountability to projects that require more than standard residential execution. Clients value his ability to simplify complex decisions and execute them with confidence.
A Berryville native, Eric takes pride in building homes in the same community he grew up in, and its surrounding areas. Outside of work, he enjoys bluegrass guitar, fishing, hunting, and most importantly, being a husband and father to his wife and young daughter.
David Betz
David brings 17 years of hands-on construction experience, grounded in both field work and technical project leadership. He began as an apprentice carpenter in high school and college, developing a practical understanding of how buildings are assembled before moving into roles spanning land surveying, geotechnical field analysis, land development, structural concrete, and commercial general contracting.
David’s experience gives him a rare advantage: he understands a project from the soil beneath it to the structure above it. David has extensive experience coordinating utilities, navigating local government approvals, and planning critical infrastructure, ensuring projects are structurally sound and properly sequenced long before construction begins. His bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science further strengthens his ability to evaluate sites and anticipate challenges that others overlook.
Today, he applies that expertise to highly custom residential projects, protecting budget and schedule through disciplined planning and proactive coordination. Outside of work, David spends as much time as possible outdoors with his family, hunting, hiking the Valley, canoeing the river, traveling, and finding any excuse to be on the water.
